About Us

Lakota Tank Company provides containment solutions for residential, commercial, and agricultural uses. We are a subsidiary of Rossing’s Inc., which also owns and operates Lakota Water Company.

Our History

Rossing’s, Inc. was created in 2002 for the primary purpose of turnkey rainwater collection systems and water treatment. Alan and Amy Rossing opened their first d/b/a, Lakota Water Company, immediately thereafter.

In 2018, the Rossing’s opened their second d/b/a, Lakota Tank Company. Having a new rainwater franchise partner plus increased demand for storage tanks of all sizes and purposes, they saw a need for quality tanks and containment. Lakota Tank Company offers polyethylene tanks, fiberglass tanks, metal tanks, grain bins, and similar containment options.

The Lakota family is especially proud of its custom designed Lakota Legacy Tank, which is a lined, corrugated metal tank with 30-degree pitched roof used primarily for rainwater harvesting or other water storage.

The Lakota name comes from Alan’s rich heritage and Lakota Sioux ancestry.  Although adopted and raised in East Texas, Alan and his children are proud to hold tribal memberships in South Dakota.
